As the school year has gone on, students have been able to adapt to the new cell phone policy as well as the consequences tied to cell phone usage. Students are not allowed to have their phones in class unless instructed by the teacher. They may have them in between classes and during lunches. If students are caught with their phone in class, a series of punishments follow, beginning with their teacher taking the phone just for the block as well as after-school detention, and even all the way up to having to turn the phone into the office for a series of days or possibly the rest of the year. The temptation to get on your phone isn’t worth the consequences, so just stick to the script and follow our county's policy.
