The Highlander football team is storming into this year's homecoming game with an unblemished 4-0 record, showcasing a level of dominance that has energized the Glenvar community.
After beating Hidden Valley with an unanswered 63 points on September 20th, the Highlanders are on a roll.
Tonight’s homecoming game features a match up against the Patrick County cougars, who enter the contest with a 3-3 record.
Junior quarterback, Brody Dawyot, leads the Highlander offense, backed by a veteran group of seniors who have helped establish the team's winning culture.
“Its always a tough play regardless," says Dawyot. "And they're coached extremely well but I think we’re going to come in strong and dominate their team.”
The homecoming showdown kicks off tonight at 7 p.m. in Highlander Stadium. Students are encouraged to pack the stands wearing extreme green and gold to show their school spirit.
